Emily Grand (she/her) supports the firm’s day-to-day operations, internal systems, and client engagement infrastructure. She brings a disciplined operational lens shaped by her background in stage management, production leadership, and arts administration, ensuring that complex work is delivered with clarity, consistency, and care.
Prior to joining MCA, Emily served as Operations & Client Success Coordinator at Diaz Inclusion Consulting and held multiple leadership roles at Pittsburgh Opera, including Associate Director of Production, Manager of Operations, Resident Artist Program Administrator, and Stage Manager. She also served as a member of Pittsburgh Opera’s IDEA Committee, contributing to internal culture and inclusion efforts.
Emily’s career includes freelance stage management and administrative work with organizations such as The Dallas Opera, Washington National Opera, Utah Opera, Stages St. Louis, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, and The Glimmerglass Festival. Across these roles, she developed a reputation for precision, calm under pressure, and an ability to hold both people and process with equal attention. Emily holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Stage Management from The Pennsylvania State University.
